To prepare, if you are using any kind of retinoid, stop the use 3 days before treatment and do not resume use until 5 days post treatment when your skin is repaired and functioning back to normal.When you come in for your treatment, your aesthetician will thoroughly double cleanse your skin, and then apply a topical numbing cream that will sit for 20 minutes. Once your numbing process has been completed your skin will be cleansed for a second time. Does Microneedling hurt during treatment?
During the treatment you will feel a mild buzz on the skin, but the buzzing sting is tolerable and the treatment time is relatively short!
What will my skin look like following my treatment?
Immediately post treatment you may be pink, as if you had a slight sunburn. There are possible side effects of being swollen or feel some heat in the skin for the next 36 hours.The micro-channels created in your skin are open and healing for about 36 hours, which is a time that is crucial in the way you treat your skin and use products at home! Staying out of direct sunlight is best! Consider staying inside or in the shade, as well as using cool water to cleanse your skin. We provide take-home product in office that will be most beneficial for your home care.
What will my skin look like the day after my treatment?
Following those first 36 hours, your skin will have an immediate radiance and glow as you have freshly rejuvenated skin! You will still want to continue use of gentle products for the next couple days until your skin feels comfortable and back to normal.
How often should I get a Microneedling treatment?
